Comité d'accueil à l'aéroport Ben Gurion / Welcome committee in Ben Gurion airport

Cet après-midi, j'ai reçu un appel d'une amie israélienne vivant à Jérusalem. Elle me dit que depuis peu, les médias parlent en long et en large de notre débarquement massif à l'aéroport Ben Gourion de Tel Aviv vendredi prochain, le 8 juillet. Comme on s'en doute, en des termes souvent peu élogieux, nous présentant parfois comme de dangereux terroristes antisémites...

Mais les associations œuvrant pour la paix appellent de leur côté à un rassemblement de soutien à notre action devant l'aéroport, pour nous réceptionner à notre arrivée.

The Marhaba to Palestine campaign is aimed at protesting the ongoing travel restrictions imposed by Israel on those entering end exiting the Palestinian Authority areas, and the ongoing denial of Palestinian human rights.

Usually, an international activist who wishes to visit Palestine has to conceal her/his political intentions when landing at Ben Gurion Airport, and disguise herself/himself as a tourist with a detailed tour plan.

On July 8th planeloads of international activists, 550 men and women, will land at Ben Gurion and declare "openly" we are here to visit Palestine

We will wait for them at the airport starting at 13:00, until the arrival of all activists, with "welcome" signs, supporting them and expressing our solidarity.

A bus to the airport will depart from the El-Al terminal, Arlozorov station (Tel Aviv) at 13:00. You are encouraged to arrive with your own car, all through the afternoon. To coordinate your arrival by car, call Renen: 054-3241622.
You will also be able to join the reception/demo after participating the Friday's demos. Please coordinate this in advance when you register for these demos
